Sorry if this has been asked before. It seems like a no-brainer issue to me, but I can’t find anyone talking about it.

Is there a color space plugin, or some other method of support, for Photoshop to work in YUV color space mode (similar to LAB) to process NTSC composite video images in their native space?

YUV implemented as a mode (like RGB, CMYK, grayscale, etc.) would be the most helpful.

From my knowledge of plug-ins (which lacks actually writing a plug-in), I say that this is not something a ‘plug-in’ could do. I.e. A plug-in as far as I have seen so far, modifies an image and hands it back to core photoshop. I.e. it does not interact with all other photoshop tools……as you would require.

There is always the Post processing NTSC filter.
