Hi all

Is it possible to delete or make transparent a single color only in the rectangular maruee tool ?

Is it possible to delete or make transparent a single color only in the rectangular maruee tool ?

Step 1: Use the marquee tool to select an area.

Step 2: Choose the color you want to work with using the Eyedropper.

Step 3: Select->Color Range.

Step 4: Fill the selection with a different color, or make it transparent if your image is on a layer.

Here is another solution:

1. select the area using the rectangle marquee tool
2. copy the selection
3. paste the selection
4. On the layers palette adjust the opacity of the new layer.
