TIFF to JPG conversion

We just upgraded to Pshop 7.0.1, and when we convert TIFFs to JPGs we are unable to see them in Quark Xpress (version 5.0) and various other softwares such as CADD, etc.

Are we missing a setting or is there something you guys have come across to solve this problem? We are on PC platform, and do have some trouble with Quark in general, but this seems to be a Photoshop problem, independant of Quark.

Any help?

Try turning off Image Previews in File Handling preferences.

But you do now see that the problem is with Quark? <g>

Yes. there are so many things in Quark that are poorly executed. I wish it was more like Adobe’s interface in its design. But unfortunately, getting our company to switch to InDesign is improbable.

Try using Quark 5 on a PC! What a disaster.
