Are there any file formats which can be saved from Photoshop CS and opened in Photoshop 7.0? PSD, TIF, JPG, etc.?

Thanks.

Terry

Z’actly. But then they would be in the new file format wouldn’t they?

PSD is still PSD. PSB is the huge thing, that only goes forward in time. I suppose the B stands for Big. Save as PSD, and you should be able to safely go back in time.

Also, if you are suing PSD or layered tiff and you have type on a path, the new blending mode, new photo filters adjustment layers, or layer comps, those functions didn’t exist in PS7, so they will be ignored/will be replaced…

I know that PS CS does accept 56 channels instead of 24, but I don’t know if this is valid only for the PSB format or if PSD are concerned too…
