Hello,

I have a question regarding using Photoshop with a flat panel monitor. Since I have had a flat panel monitor installed, images (whether saved from the web or created) apprear dark pending on the color. When I do a "Save for Web" option, the image color becomes lighter and the image appears the way it should be. When I try this process on a regular monitor, the image looks the same whether you do the "Save for Web" option of not.

Does anyone have any insight on this and know of a solution?

Thanks;

Jeremy

Your monitor requires calibrating, (but Adobe Gamma is not suitable for LCD monitors….)

I had Adobe Gamma with Elements 2 – but it appears to have dissapeared completely after installing PS CS!

Anybody know how I get it back?

Having said that, what is the best way to calibrate an LCD? Is there other software available?

Thanks

Steve
