In Photoshop CS, if you view the histogram in "expanded view" or "all channels view" and put the mouse somewhere in any of the visible histograms, it displays the various statistics (mean, std dev, median, etc.) If you leave the mouse/pointer in that same position and control-tab to another open image, most of the statistics information automatically updates as it should, but "Count" and "Percentile" do not. Those two values only update if you move the mouse (even if only vertically, remaining on the same level). Whether the histogram data is cached or not doesn’t appear to make any difference.
