need help – aligning a selection to a path

I was wondering if there is a method of aligning an image or a selection of an image along a path? I am wanting the selection to curve. Is there any other way of accomplishing this?

and I am using PS7.

No. That is a function of a vector program, such as illustrator or freehand.

Since CS now offers text on a path, you may be able to align it there.

Why don’t you just make the path a selection? Or am I missing something?

It sound more like you want to use the liquify option.

that would work but the using the its really easy to create simple curves using the pen tool. i’ll give the liquify tool a try
