Hello,
I have a photograph I brought in to Photoshop, added a Pantone spot channel, and saved as a PSD. I wanted to bring this in to Illustrator as a backdrop. Illustrator complains that it can’t open the file. If I save the Photoshop file without the spot channel Illustrator opens it just fine. Am I going about this the wrong way? Maybe someone can help me out. My end goal is to take a photograph and covert it to shades of a specified Pantone color for 2 color print separations. Help?
Thanks,
Jason
