I am running a 1 ghz pc with Win ME, amd athlon processor, 224 mb ram. I have Photoshop 5.5 and ImageReady 2.0. I have started to learn how to make animated gif’s but there seems to be one slight problem. I open up the file and go to the animation pallete/animation tab and when I go to click on one of the controls at the bottom of the pallete the controls collectively become one big black bar and I can’t get to them. I simply open another pallete or whatever and go back and the controls are there but the same thing happens when I attempt to access them. One person responded to my plight and said to update my video drivers. I went to Sony’s site and the only update I could find was supposedly for Win 95 even though it was dated in 2003. I hesitate to install this as I’m using ME. I’m thinking of uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop but before I do that I wondered if anyone else has come across this peculiar problem. Thanks, Bill. 713.266.6518,
