What is the correct steps in scanning a 35mm slide directly into photohop7? We are using a HP 3570C Scan Jet. It seems it will not directly scan into Photoshop 7. Is there a solution? Thanks Jeff

I have always scanned my slides to a file in My Documents, then opened it in PS.

I have HP 7400c, and I couldn’t scan directly to PS, either.

I don’t know if it will work for slides, but here are the steps to scan in PS 7.
FILE…IMPORT…WIA SUPPORT.
That should let you capture a scanned image in PS.

Silverfast, a Photoshop plugin, is scanner software that scans directly into Photoshop. See silverfast.com if it supports your scanner.

Have you looked in FILE -> IMPORT?

If your HP TWAIN Software does not allow you to scan directly into PS then you could use a 3rd party scannig software such as Silverfast or Vuescan.
