I was watching the "Video Workshop for Adobe Photoshop CS" the Total Training video/application by Deke McClelland and I noticed, on the Layer Comps of the 2nd chapter, that he uses a custom background while working in PS.

See here for a screenshot: <http://www.thenewfoodlabel.com/custombg.gif>.

I am wondering how he may have done this? I know you can shift + click w/the paintbucket tool while in the second fullscreen mode to change the color for the background, but it appears he is not even in fullscreen mode and not to mention it’s a custom graphic. I thought maybe they added it in post production through video, but that is very tedious and unlikely.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Nick

All you’re seeing is Deke’s desktop wallpaper. That’s the way Macs work, Nick. The palettes and document window appear to float over top of the desktop, and any space around them reveals the desktop underneath.
