I know they talk about automation in their HTML "help" (for want of a better word) pages. But I’m wondering if there is a VBA interface for Photoshop.

Thanks

Yes. Get the free cripting module from www.adobe.com. But if you are new to Photoshop, chances are good that you don’t need it. Learn all the things Photoshop can do, look at the Actions and Droplets features before you re-invent the wheel. A number of actions and droplets are provided in the default installation. Try them out. (The Droplets are rather hidden, probably in the Samples folder -> Droplets -> Photoshop. Just drag a picture onto a droplet to see it work.)

Check out the scripting guides from the website too.
You can script plugins using VB, JavaScript and AppleScript. But you can’t do everything, it seems Scripting doesn’t replace the SDK.

Photoshop started as a Mac program. So it may support VBA, but not perfect in a Microsoft way.
