Hi everyone!

I would please like to know how to run both photoshop 7 and photoshop 5 LE at the same time.
Why?
I have a canoscan fs4000us slide/film scanner and when I use it with photoshop it takes up all the resources photoshop has (won’t let me do anything else)
the software for the canoscan is built into the driver so I can only use it with photoshop. what I would like to do is have the other photoshop running as well so I can edit other photographs while I wait.

any ideas?

thanks

randy

Have them installed on two separate drives, or two partitions of the same drive. If your system has the resources to run both apps at the same time, should be no problem. If not, you may experience extreeeme slowdown on command executions, but it will still work.

Randy,

As far as I know, this is not possible.

You don’t say which OS you have, but with XP, you could probably set up 2 users and swap between them [as this only takes a couple of keystrokes].
