Hi.

For some reason the zoom tool is set to zoom out instead of zoom in. When starting photoshop(v 7.01) for the first time it was set to zoom in, but now its set to zoom out. Can I get it back to normal without reinstalling the entire program?

Select the zoom tool, look at the toolbar at the top of the screen you will see 2 magnifying glass icons. Click the one with a + in it.

if you try holding down the zoom button in your tool bar, it should give you an option to – or +. but there’s an easier way to zoom. Ctrl + and – on the pc will zoom in and out over the curser (Apple + or – on the mac). Otherwise, simply hold down the Alt button when you have the zoom tool selected to zoom in or out. and another handy tip is to hold down Ctrl and 0 (Zero) will make the image fill the screen again.

Happy Photoshoping
