I need to sharpen this type. It’s a laundry-care tag on an American made jacket exported to France. Hope you speak French.

Sharpen it for display on a webpage? The text has been practically destroyed by Jpeg compression. Either go back to a clean source image, or retype the text and present that instead.

You don’t read French, eh? Someone will translate it.

That’s an actual tag? Or a joke?
Well; not really a joke because it’s true.

I would make a selection of just the type – using select color range, then create a new layer and fill the selection with black. Saving the image as a gif would make the text much sharper than making it a jpeg.
