I am using OptiCal 3.7.8 for Windows to create my monitor profiles. Now when I use Qimage v2004.337, the profiles show up as "not a valid ICC profile". Mike Chaney indicated Qimage is compatible with ICC 4.0. I checked the profiles and found there is nothing in the field for the embedded description. Since updating to OptiCal 3.7.8, I have had to spend more toying with my printer settings to get acceptable prints. Colorvision suggested going back to ICC v2 profiles, but I don’t know if this can be done in the Colorvision program. So basically they are suggesting going back to a previous version of OptiCal, which produced ICC v2 compliant profiles. Anyone else have this problem or perhaps have a suggestion for a fix?
