I need to replace my CRT as it is dying. It is/was a Sony Multiscan 21" and I have loved it for many years. But I guess it’s time to get an LCD…..
I want 19" (I think -this would give me the same screen real estate as the 21" CRT), I know I want color temperature adjustment.
I would also like one that has a few different video
settings that can just be accessed with a button. For
example, my Sony has settings: "Professional" which is good for reading and scrolling black text on a white background, "standard" which is good for all purpose indoor room light and "dynamic" which I use for photo editing.
I have heard that Eizo might meet my needs but their
response times seem relatively slow and they are fairly expensive. I’ll spend it if I have too….
What monitors would you recommend that would come close to, or surpass, the Sony Multiscan CRTs for both photo editing and writing a book, surfing/reading web etc.
TIA
Louise
