Following on from another thread, I was just wondering what workflow people used/recommended for soft proofing.

Let’s say I have an image in my usual sRGB workspace that I’m happy with. I hit the soft proof button and it needs more work to ensure it’s going to look right printed.

What I’d really like is a way to take the good looking sRGB image and make it look like that when soft proofed, then hit Save As to create the printable file. Is that possible?

If not, short of doing all the colour correction work again with soft proof switch on, what can I do?
