How do you edit/transform skew or distort an image or a selection without loosing much resolution. It seems that when I skew or distort something it becomes too pixelated. Is there a way to reduce that?

Since the pixels have to be reinterpolated to the transformed configuration, some softening is only natural.

You don’t mean the display you see before you actually apply the tranformation do you? If it looks a little harsh it’s just a display issue. When you commit to the transformation, it should smooth out considerably.

What is your file’s resolution, and at what preview percentage are you seeing this problem?
