Hi,

I’m a bit of a newbie to photoshop, and am using Photoshop Elements.

I find that any text I use in an image comes out rather blurred, lacking in the kind of clarity/sharpness/definition I’d normally expect for text from e.g. a word processor.

I’m wondering if this is a flaw in ‘Elements’ or whether I’m missing something out.

I’ve also tried typing some text in the Gimp and importing that into PE. That is also blurred, both when seen in PE and in The GIMP, so it looks like the font is inadequate rather than PE, but I’d be glad of any advice on this. It’s quite important, as I need to complete a business leaflet ASAP.

Would I get better results e.g. by downloading another font?

thanks,

Greg

You’d get better results using a page layout package, such as Indesign or Quark Xpress, rather than a photo editor. At least when you are laying out pages instead of just photos.
