Hello,

I have a 600px by 25px rectangle and would like to round the top corners.

Can someone tell me how to do that? I am using PS Elements.

Thanks,

Bob

You will need to zoom in and use the eraser tool (block mode) to erase some of the pixels make the corners rounded. The other option would to be start over and use the rounded corner rectangle shape tool.

Or use the rounded rectangle tool and make a selection of it and use the selection to make out the existing rectangle.

Or make a Clipping Group of the two.

Or use the circle marquee inversed as a guide to quickly erase the pixels.

Or…

That’s nutz. Just use the rectangle selection tool and select more than the image so that only the top edges are selected. Select-inverse and press ‘delete’. Or make a mask of the selection. Your choice.

You can adjust the degree of curve before selecting.
