If I de-select an adjustment layer and then print the image, will the print look like the de-selected image or will it print as though the adjusted layer is still active?

Hi David,
I assume by de-select you mean toggle visibility, if this is the case then the image will print or save as if the adjustment layer had been deleted.

Hi.

When Printing from PS, only those layers which are "Visible" will Print.

You can print versions with and without adjustment ( or any other) layer, just by clicking on the "Eye" symbol.

Roy,

Thanks for the prompt reply. I just purchased some Innova paper, downloaded the profile for my printer (Epson R1800), and installed the profile. But the prints still didn’t match the monitor very well. I usually use Epson’s Ultra Premium Luster, and when I soft-proof and print on that paper, there is a very good match.

I suspect the profile for the Innova paper is not working correctly so that is why I needed to make an adjustment layer correction. So now I know I don’t have to save two versions of the file. Thanks again.

David
