Benefits of Image Ready???

Can anyone tell me what I would use ImageReady for that I can’t do in Photoshop? I am using CS, and I’m not new to Photoshop. I’ve used it for several years, starting with Version 3. But I have never really tried ImageReady because from looking at it – I don’t see what I would use it for. But since it comes with PS, it must be good for something!
