I’ve got a Nikon Coolscan IV and want to scan some old B&W negatives with it
When I do, they look OK in the preview but when they transfer to PS they are posterized to about 8 levels I’d guess.
Can anyone help me overcome this. Are there settings I ma missing in the Nkon or in PS
Colour scans are working reasonably well though they seem noisy
