I saw that Adobe no longer sells the raw 1.0 plugin. Does anyone know how to attain it (legally), or who makes a good raw plugin for version 7?

Depending on the camera model you could use the supplied RAW-converter. Not all cameras currently available are supported by Adobe Camera Raw v1. Rob

You might try finding a user group. I belong to an olympus group, and then have the raw import plug-in for olympus cameras on the website.
