CS2 – healing brush/spot healing brush

All of a sudden, I only get a cross instead of a circle when selecting a region to work with. When pressing left mouse button the cross changes into a black circle according to the brush size, but I want my original circle back. …..Any solution out there?

The Caps Lock key toggles from brush size to precise cross hairs.
