I’ve decided that whenever the image quality really matters, I’m going to shoot my D70 (and the 5400) recording RAW format. But … When we’re out traveling, my wife’s laptop — which is used as our photo safe — has Windows XP and Microsoft’s new RAW thumbnail viewer really works well so I can use just Windows Explorer to look at the whole set of pictures I’ve recorded.
BUT … My own image processing computer at home is a Windows 2000 computer and I’d love to have the same kind of RAW thumbnail viewing on it that we have on WinXP. Yes, I could use Bridge, but it’s often much like swatting a fly with a tactical nuclear device. Does anyone know of any Explorer upgrades for Win2K that allow RAW thumbnail viewing?
TIA
