Hello all,

I got a new Mitsubishi monitor last week. (Actually, it isn’t quite new, though it’s new to me. It was listed as "Not Quite New" when I bought it.)

Anyway, as I was adjusting the screen display (the shape and size) I got it somewhat distorted, and wanted to reset the factory settings using the "Geometry Reset" feature. However, I couldn’t get it to work. I talked to the customer service at the retailer that sold it to me, and they said that "Geometry Reset" generally doesn’t accomplish anything on Mitsubishi monitors. They also said that on larger monitors it’s almost impossible to get a perfectly square display. So, I have two questions.

First, does anyone have experience with the "Geometry Reset" feature failing to work on a Mitsubishi monitor?

Second, is it true that you can’t acheive a perfectly square display on a larger monitor?

Thanks in advance for sharing your experience.

Jonathan
