problem with photoshop CS

hello,

whiole using photoshop CS. it randomly stops resonding. its like u cannot select any tool or use anytool. the menus will work but no tools work. this happens suddenly for no specific reason while working in photoshop. The only way to get back to work is save the file and restart photoshop.

Is there any fix for this.

Sounds like the dialog boxes are off screen. Are you running at a resolution of at least 1024×768? Have you gone from a dual to single monitor setup?

no! I am using 1152 by 768 resolution. and well..all boxes are ON screen. I click the buttons…but its kinda like they spring back to off.. This happens randomly…but everytime I close ps…it is becos of this. ONly restart of ps is the solution for me.
