Photoshop 7.0 Is too Dark??

Im having some brightness Issues in PS 7.0. Everything appears too Dark…. like the Colors in the selecter… And the final results of an eddited image is too bright because in photoshop it apearred normal coloring but It comes out too bright… and When I Open normal images in PS it comes out too Dark… and its not the monitor because Everything else is perfect. Anyway I can fix this problem?

rerun adobe gamma via the control panel.

Ahh fixed it! For anyone who has this problem, go to "Edit" then down to Color Settings then under Working Spaces RGB, Select your Monitor’s Selection. then you`re colors will work.

That’s a Botch. The monitor RGB is NOT a good editing space.

Proof Setup>Monitor RGB. The view within Photoshop will now be identical to the view in non-colour managed applications
