I am using Photoshop 7.0 and cannot get the text to wrap to another line. I have tried creating a text paragraph box as well as using regular text, but when I get to the end of the line, the cursor goes back to the middle or beginning of the current line automatically.

Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!

Make sure the leading is set properly in the character palette

Make sure the leading is not set to zero.

Bob,

Thanks. My leading was set at 0.43 Changed it to 12 point and word wrap is working flawlessly.

Thanks Again!

Pretty much the same as zero. Glad you got it sorted.

Isn’t there an "auto" setting for leading? I think that’s what it should be set to, unless you have a special reason to exactly specify it. Then the font itself controls the leading. I may be thinking of another option though…

I think simply deleting the leading number will set it to auto.

<nodding> Just checked. Auto is also at the top of the dropdown list.
