Hello,

I just purchased the new top end version of PhotoShop. Will I be able to create Vector Graphics with that or do I need ily?

You can make some vector shapes, but for complex vector work you still need AI.

So I can’t take an exsisting logo and convert it to, say… vector eps?

You can make a vector layer for each shape of the logo and save that as EPS with vectors. This is a poor replacement for Illustrator. Kind on like using Illustrator as a replacement for InDesign or QuarkXPress, or MS Word for, well, anything.

you can EXPORT your paths to illustrator if you need to, also. (File>Export)
