I’ve been finding myself lately working with images which have large sections of a hazy, medium gray color. When I try to select areas in the image, it’s difficult to see where the selection tool is. It changes to black when I hover over a light color, and white when I’m over a dark color, but just blends in when I’m over that medium range of colors. Once I’ve made the selection, the "marching ants" alternate between black and white, and are easy to see, of course, but finding where I am to begin the selection is a problem.
Using the "precise" cursor instead of the standard helps a little, but just barely. Is there any way to make the cursor thicker, or a different color, or . . . .?
Oh, I’m using PS 7.0.1 on a Dell Latitude, 1 Gig of RAM, if any of that matters (it shouldn’t in this case).
Thanks in advance,
Michael
