Any know of a tutorial for creating a bullethole? I would like to create something similar to the hole on this site:

Adobe Studio Exchange has some amazing bullet hole brushes. I strongly suggest checking them out.

To make it looked like someone stuck a pencil througha piece of paper I would suggest doing something kinds like this.

Make the image you want to punch out.
Duplicate the image layer, to be safe.
Make a jagged selection, delete it.
Duplicate the layer.
Make a selection for where the paper has blown out.
Copy and paste it to a new layer.
Use the brightness and contrast to make it brighter outward, then darken the shadowed area. Run a slight gaussian blur on the ripped paper for the edges to looked frayed. Add a shadow to the layer so it reflects on the layer below.

That is how I would do it, I havent tried it but that sounds like it might work.
