I’m trying to create a relatively simple heading for a web page consisting of our club’s name in a nice metallic 3D text created from a basic font. But whenever I do it and then place it on a web page with a tiled background image resembling the night sky there’s always a thin white outline around the letters. I created them the first time by just doing the text and applying filter effects. The next time I tried converting text to curves. I’ve saved them as gifs in saving them to the web. Is there some other way they should be saved that can still make it a fast load for web browsers?
