CS3 on laptop problem

I upgraded to CS3 on my windows xp laptop, everything went well, except now after running for about 5 minutes a windows popup comes on and says problem with program must close.. it has done this almost every time now… Any ideas…..
Also do you have to unstall CS2 or 7 at some point. thanks mike

Try resetting the preferences.
