I was following my own advice (for once!) and making sure I downloaded the information from all of the threads I’ve been bookmarking, just in case Adobe decides to clean house thoroughly this weekend and empty the archives again.
I happened to notice that when people use the "old fashioned" way to post links, the URLs appear in the Word docs after I’ve done a copy/paste routine, and I still can access whatever the poster thought was of interest.
When the method is used in which a word, such as "here" is substituted for a full URL, all you get is "here" when you copy the thread. There’s no URL to refer back to.
I just thought I’d pass that along, in case anyone else is trying to get all neat and tidy before this weekend. 🙂
