Hi there,

Sorry for the newbie question, I’m looking to wind a text around a selection (let’s say a circle for example). Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks,

You need to attach the type to a work path made by a vector shape tool or the pen tool. To attach the type, just place your Type tool over the path and you the cursor change. Little arms will come out that look like Bevis dancing . This is when the type will attach to the path.

If you have trouble, you can look under Help and go to Type > text on a path, you will find a detailed step by step explanation.

Peadge 🙂
