I’m trying to save a multi-layer PSD file (a business card design with small print) as a PDF file for the printer whose hardware requires it. But whenever I save a PSD file to PDF in Photoshop CS3, I don’t see any options to keep the line art as line art. So
every PDF file I try to save does so as a flat pixel-based image. Is this because I didn’t save as layers, and went with copy (flat) instead?
My experience with PDF files is pretty limited, but I thought one of the big advantages of the PDF document is that it won’t rasterize all your line art, and keeps it vector so that printers can go to ridiculously high resolutions with it?
