Could someone tell me how to convert a 4 color image to a single Pantone color ? Thanks Mark

Basically just change it to a Grayscale and copy/paste that into a spot color channel in a new CMYK file and then SaveAs a .psd; a Photoshop PDF or a DCS2 (depending on how you will be using the file).

Image>Mode>Grayscale

Then the mode "Duotone" will be available, so go to:

Image>Mode>Duotone

In the dropdown called "Type" (of image) at the top of the dialog, instead of Duotone, choose Monotone.

Pick the Pantone color you want … then play with the curve to get the density you’d like.

Save as an .eps file.
