Elements 2.0 bombs on start after re-install

I have Photoshop Elements 2.0 on a Windows 2000 PC.

This morning when I went to start it, I got an error, which I unfortunately did not think to write down, that said something about not finding "personalization" something-or-other, and the program did not run.

Having no idea how to correct this error, I decided to re-install. After about three uninstall and re-install attempts, including going through the registry to be sure all references to the program were deleted, it still does not run. I now get this message every time I start the program: "photoshopelemen.exe has generated errors & will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created."

Two questions:
1 – Where do I find this error log?

2 – Any ideas on what may need doing to fix this, other than what the error log may indicate?

Never mind. I remembered what the fix is from earlier installs: Deleting file "twain_32.DBA" from the Import_Export Plugins folder.

Did that, and the program now runs fine.
