Problems with red eye

Sorry, I first posted this in the wrong place.
In fixing red eye, I cannot change the replacement color from green (used on prior photo)to another color, not even the default color. I tried a number of things, but the resulting color is still green. I looked in three books, the help menu, and online, but I do not see where this problem is addressed. Can someone help?

Click once in the replacement colour box (mine has the true English spelling patch 😉 ), and select a colour from the colour picker.

I just had this problem and I couldn’t get the red eye to work either. Someone suggested I just zoom in on the eyes and use the paint brush. I just picked the black color I wanted and painted it in, which is what I do now and it works fine. I did what you did and nothing worked. If you do find a solution, please share it with me.
