hey, wondering if anyone could help me with this-

wherever i try to add text – on top of a plain background or an image or anything – it doesn’t show, even though the layers menu says that it’s there. i guess it’s underneath whatever else is on the image, but i can’t figure out how to get it on top. does anyone know how to fix this?

thanks

I do! I do! (It’s happened to me lots of times.) Have your Layers palette open, find the layer with your text on it, use your mouse to click and hold on that text layer, and then just drag it up the list until it’s above the layer that’s hiding it, then let go. You might have to try moving it to a couple of spots before you get the right one.
