Photoshop elements fails to install, giving error message that IE 4.0 or later cannot be found. Knowledge Base 328517 gives instructions on how to set the registry file but adds that IE 6.0 installed on XP might not show the iexplore.exe file in the registry. It doesn’t and I don’t know what to do. Are there more instructions?? My scanner won’t install without finding IE.

Currently running WIN XP -pro, with IE 6.0 SP1 installed and functioning.

John,

I remember vaguely that there might have been an error in that knowledge base article having to do with some punctuation at the end of the entry. Could you post how you edited your registry?
