I have installed the singel version of Photoshop CS on a G4 under Panther and a newly purchased G5 using Panther. When a bitmap file is created (i.e. lineart scans or 600-1200 dpi images) and you try to rotate it either ccw degrees or 180 degrees, the image gets all distorted. It crops off pieces and moves them to diff sections. It somehow is corrupting the file and ruining it. Please help anyone.

Thanks Jgerhardt

bug.

convert to grayscale, rotate, then, convert back to bitmap mode.

You should be able to rotate 90° clockwise without distortion, so if you need 180°, rotate 90°CW twice.

If you need 90° CCW, rotate 90°CW three times.

I’d go with Jas on this one.
