I have 2 tiffs at 13 megs each… I used winzip at nomal compression to send to printer and it zipped to 8.5 megs.. Does this sound correct ? Thanks J

It depends on whether they were color or grayscale,
the composition of the picture, ie how much contrast.
I would use jpeg to make smaller files. I didn’t know
zipped files had a lossy setting. I guess it is getting more sophisticated. The best answer is to ask your printer
what he thinks is the best compression level that makes
the smallest file without sacrificing the quality of the final product.
