I have a two color, simple line art, document. It is in layers, the two colors are each on their own layer. I have saved the document as an eps file for the client. When they open it it reads as a CMYK document, but they want it to be 2 spot colors (using black and 1 PMS solid color). How do I set it up so it opens as two PMS solid colors and not CMYK? Thanks!

The title of your thread say you want ‘separatable PMS Solid colors’ and I think what you are saying is that you want PMS color channels preserved. Anyway, If you are using version 7 of Photoshop (you didn’t specify) save in DCS format. Read page 211 in your user manual for details.

Better get a license.

"How do I make separatable PMS Solid colors?"

Get the Pantone(R) Process Color Imaging Guide "Solid To Process" and follow the CMYK percentages for the solid color you want to attempt to replicate.
