It seems to me that several of my older filters still dont work in CS. They also didnt work in 7 but they did work in 6. For example, in 7 and CS KPT5 wont show up but KPT6 will. I have read some info that claims alot of filters just dont work with new version of photoshop. Is this true? If so is there a way to make them work?

Filters that are not OS X compatible will not work in OS X, period. It’s not Photoshop’s fault.

See if the developer has OS X versions of your filters.

The only way to use those legacy filters (many of which will never be updated) is to keep an earlier version of Photoshop on your computer and to launch it in Classic when you need to use one of those filters.
