I am unable to start ADOBE GAMA LOADER.

I found the executable program located in the following path – C:\PROGRAM FILES\COMMON FILES\ADOBE\CALIBRATION\ADOBE\GAMA LOADER.EXE.

Nothing happens when I double click on this file.

How come?

The Gamma loader.exe file is not the calibrator. It loads the profile into the video LUT on startup. The file you want is the Adobe Gamma.cpl ( control panel applet ). It should be in the control panel , ready for use. If its not, then search it out, and execute it by right clicking and selecting "run with control panel", or somesuch thing.

A good tutorial on the calibration and profiling process is at Ian Lyons’ site, <http://www.computer-darkroom.com/ps7-colour/ps7_2.htm> .

Happy Squinting,

🙂
