I left the image open overnight. I made a change ot two, very small, and then decided to revert. I found that not only the image, but my backup were hosed. Hosed, as in, there was about an inch of image at the top, then the rest was a large gray screen.

Is there any way to recover from this?

TIA

What version of PS,

What OS?

If the saved file corrupted too, or just the opened one?

Mac OS 10.3.3. Photoshop CS. Memory to 98%.
G5 5 Gigs RAM, Duial 2 Ghz.

The saved file was corrupted as well. Restarted computer, etc. The backup – made last night was also corrupted.

Then most likely the file is toast. As a last resort, you could try opening it in Graphic Converter or ImageReady, or placing it in Illustrator, but it’s an extremely long shot.
